The Role:
This role offers an excellent opportunity for Civil Designers who are in the early to mid-stages of their career, aiming for both technical growth and leadership experience. Key Accountabilities:
- Supporting the design processes in infrastructure projects, ensuring innovation, compliance, and optimal outcomes.
- Ensuring designs align with industry standards, especially TMR Specifications and Austroads guidelines.
- Collaboratively working with the broader engineering team, participating in critical discussions, and providing valuable design insights.
- Addressing potential challenges proactively during the design phase and proposing viable solutions.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in 12d and AutoCAD; knowledge of Infraworks would be a distinct advantage.
- Between 5-10 years of hands-on experience in civil design, specifically within TMR and Council infrastructure projects.
- Thorough understanding and practical application of TMR Specifications and Austroads guidelines.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide senior designers, offering expertise and facilitating knowledge-sharing.
- Demonstrated skills in collaborating effectively with engineers and drafters, ensuring integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
