ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are on the lookout for a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team in NSW. As the BDM, you will be the catalyst for growth, spearheading the expansion of student enrolments. Your mission? To harness your exceptional sales skills, generate and acquire leads, and build powerful relationships that drive business forward. You’ll excel at both nurturing existing connections and forging new partnerships.

A strong work ethic combined with effective time prioritization skills will ensure the achievement of all KPI’s and financial targets with both current and prospective students, health club owners/managers, school coordinators and other industry partners, making a real impact on our success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ignite growth by sourcing, developing, and converting industry leads to meet and exceed enrolment targets.
  • Manage your time to effectively to consistently achieve KPIs across contacts, appointments, and conversion rates.
  • Be the voice of the brand, effectively promoting our products and services to industry partners, aligned with the sales and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure professional display and maintenance of marketing materials in industry partner locations, with monthly audits.
  • Deliver precise, timely reporting on sales, revenue, productivity, and student progression to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to exceed student and customer expectations.
  • Manage the enrolment process to ensure smooth transitions from enrolment to graduation.
  • Lead the charge in planning and executing career events, training sessions, and Personal Development Days that energize our industry partners.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role (experience in the Fitness Industry preferable).
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Expertise in customer engagement and support.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel) and CRM software.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A natural ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience within RTO or Higher Education sector preferred but not essential.

  • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
  • Strong ‘persuasive’ capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and time management skills.
